
Faiz Ahmad Fayez
Dr. Faiz Ahmad is an Afghan male neurosurgeon with over 23 years of professional experience. Born in 1352 Solar Hijri calendar. He earned his MD from the Faculty of Medicine at Herat University, graduated in 1382, and completed his neurosurgery specialization at Herat Regional Hospital, graduating in 1398.
Throughout his career, Dr. Fayez has worked in both clinical and public health sectors. He served as a Capacity Building Officer and as a Monitoring Officer in various health organizations, and after specialization, worked for five years as Chief Physician at Jami Hospital. He has also served as a university lecturer and as head of a neurosurgery department. He currently practices as a neurosurgeon in the Department of Neurosurgery.
Dr. Ahmad holds 19 national trainer certificates in various areas, including Infection Prevention (IP), Nutrition, Under-Five Child Diseases, and Quality Assurance. He has contributed to scientific research on cranial (skull) traumatic injuries. He is active in professional societies and holds leadership roles in regional neurosurgical associations.
